Steps to a new habit.

Updated: May 15, 2019

So you have been crushing Joe Rogan podcasts and joko Wilk talks on YouTube. There is no secret to it, there’s no app or life hack. However there are a few ways

Wake up early make the bed- I am a victim of the habitual snooze button over and over again. I would lay there till I finally had to wake up. Own the morning own the day. Make a commitment to get up and for the love of god don’t hit the snooze button

Write down the days that you work- put the time in track the hours you work. This works in two ways it’s a tangible truth of the results that you are putting in as well as a way of checking the box. You want to do something you have to do it on days that you don’t want to do it.

Have an end goal that’s not more money. Money will only take you so far if your trading off time for a new skill that will be more money there needs to be interest. If you are not interested in the things your learning it will open up your opportunities and allow you to sustain you path to developing a new skill/habit

Reward yourself when you accomplish- there is a difference from college when you took a final then got black out drunk. I’m saying that having small rewards like maybe buying something or my favorite donating to a cause that you hate if you don’t hit a milestone in a certain amount of time. Allow for easy attainable goals at first. Get more focused and challenge yourself
